Nagle has been a volunteer with Age Concern in South Taranaki for about four years, helping run the exercise class and weekly coffee mornings. She is also on the committee of South Taranaki Grey Power, and the South Taranaki Community Health Forum, and is a former member of the Taranaki District Health Board. “She is a typical volunteer who comes without any concern about herself, but is more concerned about the community, and we appreciate her, she has a wealth of knowledge,” Barnes said. “She’s an example to all of us what we should be.” Nagle received a month’s supply of frozen meals from Tomorrow s Meals, along with the letter and a certificate.
