BPD seeks help locating missing person Edward Rodrigo Medina

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. â The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the communityâs assistance in locating missing person Edward Rodrigo Medina.
Medina was last seen in the 10100 block of Wible Road on Wednesday, April 7 at approximately 7:30 P.M.
Medina is described as a Hispanic male, 27 years old, and approximately 5â10â tall.
On Friday, April 9, Medinaâs vehicle was located abandoned in the area of East Planz Road and South Mount Vernon Avenue.
Medinaâs disappearance is considered suspicious at this time. T
The investigation is ongoing.

LOUDONVILLE A rehabilitation facility in Loudonville will start treating victims of human sex trafficking on Jan. 11, Marlene Carson, representative of the U.S. Advisory Council on Human Trafficking, announced.
A victim of trafficking, Carson created the state organization Rahab Tidal Wave, in Columbus a few years ago, with the goal of protecting and rehabilitating trafficking victims. She came to the Dec. 21 Village Council meeting at the invitation of Mayor Steve Stricklen, who has been in discussion with her for several months on the possibility of her organization acquiring the former Jac-Lin Manor on South Mount Vernon Avenue.
