Two arrested for alleged home invasion assault and stealing a vehicle

CADILLAC — Cadillac police arrested two people believed to have been involved in an invasion of a Cadillac home and shooting a woman in the face with a BB gun.

Sanitary sewage spill near Lake Mitchell

CADILLAC – The Lake Mitchell Sewer Authority on Tuesday issued a required warning about a spill that happened Monday, May 10. The sewer authority said a minor sanitary sewer overflow happened while crews were excavating a grinder pump station on South Mitchell Drive. Approximately 30 gallons of sewer water spilled to underground soil and contractors removed the soil with a vacuum truck. The sewage did not spill into Lake Mitchell or any surface waters. The sewer authority said there as no health and safety concerns, to their knowledge. Cadillac News

Sedalia Police Reports For January 28, 2021 This article is compiled from the Sedalia Police Department reports. Early Thursday morning, Sedalia Police performed a traffic stop on a silver Volkswagen passenger car, as the vehicle had defective tail lights. The traffic stop took place in the 2400 block of South Stewart Avenue. Officers spoke to the driver, performed a computer check through Dispatch, and discovered she had a revoked Missouri driver s license. Carrie Lynn Wilcox, 44, of Windsor, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail where she was booked and released for Driving While Suspended. Court dates are to be determined.   Thursday morning, Officers initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of West Main Street and South Mitchell Road. Following a brief investigation, the driver was arrested on a Johnson County Failure to Appear warrant on an original charge of Speeding. David O.
