The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced the following road work this week:
Carbon County
• Kidder Township, Route 534/Hickory Run Road drainage between River Road/Tannery Road and Rout.
Pennsylvania State Police say they seized several thousand marijuana plants from a home in Foster Twp. and took two men into custody when they served a search warrant on Monday.
