Work in area of West Deming and South Lea could also disrupt water service
Street closures are planned to begin Monday, Jan. 4 in the area of the intersection of West Deming Street and South Lea Avenue as city crews replace water mains in advance of the upcoming replacement of Lea Street bridge. This initial work on the water mains is expected to possibly last into February, according to a press release issued by the city.
Crews will be working each weekday from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., but the street closures will be in place at all times throughout the duration of the water-main work.
