Lafayette police investigating shots fired on Simcoe, one victim
Lafayette police are investigating a shooting with one victim in north Lafayette.
At about 9 a.m., a dark-colored sedan pulled up and fired multiple rounds at the victim before leaving the scene near East Simcoe Street and South General Marshall Street.
The 33-year-old man was standing outside when he was shot multiple times, Lafayette Police Department spokesperson Cpl. Bridgette Dugas said.
The victim is in stable condition.
