Man hospitalized after shooting in Tacoma neighborhood KOMO News Staff © Provided by KOMO-TV Seattle TACOMA, Wash. - A man was injured in a shooting Tuesday morning in Tacoma, and the suspected shooter is now under arrest, police said. Officers and medics responded to the scene, in the 6400 block of South Fawcett Avenue, at about 7:35 a.m. after receiving reports of shots fired, said Shelbie Boyd of the Tacoma police. The victim, a 48-year-old man, was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local area hospital for treatment. The 35-year-old male suspect was taken into custody a short time later. There are no outstanding suspects, police said.
