Quicker than its name changed a few years back, news came late this week the South City Hospital was closing. A sign on the door confirmed it, closing the book on a 154-year history serving the city’s south side.
The shooting took place at around 3:48 p.m. near the intersection of South Broadway and Osceola Street. Police have reportedly taken a suspect into custody.
A historic south St. Louis hospital said Thursday it will close, though no date was given, the latest in a series of tumultuous events at the facility over the years
