The owners of Brisbaneâs The Tivoli will reopen Woolloongabbaâs historic Princess Theatre as a live venue in late August.
The Annerley Road theatre, which dates back to 1888, is Brisbaneâs oldest standing theatre and one of the oldest in Queensland.
Princess Theatre, at Woolloongabba in Brisbane, has been bought by Steve Wilson and the owners of The Tivoli and will reopen as a live music theatre and circus venue.
More recently, it has been owned by Lifecity Church, which used the theatre for weddings, live music, school productions, trivia nights and church events.
