PROVO, Utah No. 12 BYU women’s track and field posted six personal bests across three different events at the BYU-Westminster Dual Meet at Robison Track and Field Complex on Wednesday.
Rebekah Ross registered the day’s lone top-10 mark with a clearance of 4.22m/13-10 in the pole vault. The sophomore from Spokane, Washington now ranks No. 4 all-time at BYU in the event, surpassing teammate Cailee Faulkner (4.20m/13-9.25). Ross’s previous outdoor best came at the Beach Invitational on April 15 at 4.17m/13-8.25.
PROVO, Utah - No. 9 BYU men’s track and field recorded three new personal records in the 400-meter hurdles, javelin throw and pole vault during Wednesday’s home meet at the Robison Track & Field Complex.
The wins by Morgan Beadlescomb (13:25) and Hobbs Kessler (4:07) should bring a smile to coach Ron Warhurst's face. Krissy Gear (4:39) and Mekides Abebe (15:01) took the women's titles.
