May 21, (THEWILL) - It was a night of glitz and glamour, as the ninth edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award, AMVCA, came to a close with Kunle Afolayan's Netflix-produced movie, 'Anikulapo', clinching the overall Best Picture Award. The movie, which led this year's ceremony with 16 nominations, only ended up with five awards.
Anikulapo, a movie by Kunle Afolayan, as well as Notable Nollywood stars such as Tobi Bakre, Osas Ighodaro, among others, won accolades at the 2023 AMVCA held on Saturday night at Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
