Dipu Moni suggests students to go beyond textbooks

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni has suggested parents not to keep their children confined to select books enumerated in the syllabus.
Rather, the students should be imparted knowledge on art, culture, science and history, she added.
She was addressing a virtual programme organised by the Meherpur district administration marking distribution of a publication on “Soto Tothye Jatir Pita” a book pregnant with the information as to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Children are the one to have borne the brunt of the Covid pandemic which wreaked havoc on socioeconomic life across the globe.
