The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department claims lawsuits and excessive use of force incidents have "decreased significantly" a day after video released apparently shows 6 LASD deputies using excessive force on an inmate.
Six LASD deputies are accused of using excessive force on inmate Jesus Soto Jara, whose attorney says he was complying with deputies after he was arrested for a non-violent crime last week. Video of the incident was released on Monday.
