Swarm Engineering, Inc., an Irvine, Calif.-based provider of a cognitive software for the food supply chain, raised $2.7m in seed funding.
The round was led by S2G Ventures, with participation from Serra Ventures via their new AgTech fund, Harvard Business School Alumni, Wells Street Capital, VTC Seed Fund, and Rinvest, and angel investor and former CEO of Bunge, Soren Schroder.
The company intends to use the capital for continued technological innovation and team growth.
