As part of an exploratory action established with doctors from Lille University Hospital and biostatisticians from the Metrics team, mathematicians from the Modal project team have succeeded in overcoming a number of methodological hurdles to modelling patient pathways. Their aim is to use data science to support and accelerate practitioners' decision-making. An initial model is expected to be finalised in the coming months.
