Up until a few years ago, Hindi cinema aka Bollywood was often criticised for being ageist and ignoring veteran film actors be it the stars of the yore or the character actors. However, in 2023, it looks like veteran stars like Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia & even Sunny Deol kicked the ageist Bollywood in the butt.
