The last advisory to come out from the National Hurricane center, was at 11 00 a. M. And at that point, the max winds were thrill 36 miles per hour. Still tropical depression 9. We have been awaiting this to become a Tropical Storm for about 24 hours at this point. Its just not in the best of environments. The gulf waters may be warm. But its facing a lot of wind shear. Thats really preventing too much in the way of so you can see, its still looking fairly disorganized on our satellite imagery. In the southern portions of the gulf at this point. Moving to the west northwest at 7 miles per hour. By thursday afternoon, thursday evening, were expecting this to make landfall in the big bend region of florida. And at this point, expecting it to be a fairly strong Tropical Storm as it makes landfall land. Then it really moves quickly as notice, by friday morning,
Other areas. The tornado was on the lower end of the intensity scale, but for some homeowners in concord, the storm caused an epic amount of damage. The National Weather service says the tornado formed somewhere near cambridge turnpike, then headed northnortheast. At about 3 17 a. M. This morning, we received a report of a tree down. The reporter many more calls would come in, but all from within a tight corridor. The tornados path, 400 yards wide and half a meant some got lucky. Your house is fine. The reporter yeah, it was scary, because its so close to my house, but yeah, so far away. The reporter and some did not. Thats the one tree we left when we moved in. Now we have zero. In fact, just outside the swath of heavy damage, houses and trees untouched. That distinct path a strong marker for a tornado.
