Sonu Sood, who has been putting in a lot of efforts to help those who have been directly or indirectly hit by COVID-19, is still being a hero when he himself has contracted the virus. Talking to ETimes he says, I am not going out but I have got time to do more social work from home on phone. I will always strive for the happiness of the people.
Sonu says he felt he had developed symptoms like cough and cold and decided not to take a chance and went in for the RT-PCR test. I had developed fever by the time the test result came positive, he reveals.

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood on Saturday informed that he has tested positive for Covid-19. He took to his social media handles to share the news of him contracting the coronavirus. The actor added that he has quarantined himself as a precautionary measure.

Sharing his post titled, ‘COVID-POSITIVE, MOOD & SPIRIT – SUPER POSITIVE’, Sonu wrote, ‘Hi everyone, This is to inform you that I have tested positive this morning for COVID-19. As a part of precautions, I have already quarantined myself and taking utmost care. But don’t worry this gives me ample time to solve your problems. Remember I’m always there for you all.’

Looks like Sonu Sood is having fun exploring his creative side. A while ago, the actor took to his Instagram handle to share a happy video snippet of himself playing with a wedding band. The video was also accompanied by a little note which was also a call for hiring as it read, “BandWala..Shaadiyo ke liye turant sampark kare ! ❤️”
In the video clip, Sonu starts by saying “Boss, kabhi bhi shaadiyaan karwani ho toh humara band bohot zabardast hai (Boss, if you are in need for a band for your wedding, ours is very good).” After which he introduced his fellow band members before he started playing the dhol. While fans showered him with love on social media, Farah Khan was seen dropping the sweetest comment for him calling him ‘multitalented’.
