MANILA, Philippines: A bill that would revoke the franchise of Sonshine Media Network International, owned by controversial televangelist Apollo Quiboloy, has been passed at the committee level, and has now been forwarded to the plenary for deliberations.House Bill 9710, filed by 1-Rider Rep. Ramon Rodrigo Gutierrez, was approved unanimously by all members of the committee headed by Paranaque Rep. Gustavo Tambunting after Surigao del Norte Rep. Johnny Pimentel moved to approve the bill without any revisions.
