Defending champion and current NSMS points leader Scott Winters of Tracy appears to be unbeatable in the North State Modified Series action as he captured his fourth consecutive victory in this open modified tour at Shasta Speedway Saturday night. Winters also set fast time over the field with a 16.265 second lap to securing the O’Reillys Auto Parts Fastest Qualifier award.
Race No. 4 of the North State Modified Series’ 10th season tour returns to Shasta Speedway in Anderson, California on Saturday. The Twyman Plumbing feature event will run 60 laps. Defending Champion and current points leader Scott Winters of Tracy has won the three previous NSMS races at Redwood Acres Raceway, Shasta Speedway and Lakeport Speedway.
