The newly approved Johnson & Johnson vaccine has crossed the bridge.
Barnstable County officials announced Thursday that they will dispense 1,200 doses of the one-shot vaccine next week during two clinics at Cape Cod Community College in West Barnstable.
They said 600 doses will be given out Tuesday and 600 more on Thursday in the community college gymnasium. All of the appointments have since filled up, but county officials said Monday they expect more supply next week.
Registration for appointments opened at noon Friday, March 5, on the state scheduling website, maimmunizations.org, county officials said in a press release. (See below for registration tips.)
