Westport Police Arrest Three in Fentanyl Bust in Hotel Room
WESTPORT Westport Police arrested three people and seized a large amount of fentanyl after one person was found to have 65 bags of the drug on her person and another had 317 bags “excreted from his person,” according to police.
In a release, Westport Police say that on Friday, April 9 at approximately 2:30 a.m., Officer Jarrod Levesque observed an SUV parked in the parking lot of the Towne Place Suites at 41 Old Bedford Road, occupying two spots with the interior light on.
The two people inside the vehicle – Alysa Bruno, 28, and Jonathan Teixeira, 32, both of Fall River – were startled when Levesque approached the vehicle, police said. The two then made their way into the hotel, where another woman opened the door for them.
