a very harrowing night for sheriff s officers here in alameda county. they spent a couple of hours trying to find this man after he ran from them. and luckily, he is now in jail. here s a look at the scene just a few hours ago. it started just after midnight just outside of hayward. alameda county sheriff s officers were called to a home on maddox way because of a domestic dispute. they say when they got there, there was a man with a gun and his kids standing nearby or some kids standing nearby. the deputy got inside the apartment. the suspect spun around with a gun according to the deputy and the deputy fired at the suspect. the suspect then fled the apartment by jumping out of a building. get this though. after that gunfire, nobody was hurt. a two-hour search began though on foot. officers finally found the man hiding in the bushes a few blocks from the house, they say. that was on scenic and angus way and he gave himself up. this man is obviously facing some very serio
