Guilford First Selectman Matthew Hoey announced Monday that the town is re-imposing its mask mandate in public buildings as a precaution against the increased spread of the COVID-19 delta variant.
The decision comes several days after the federal Centers for Disease and Control and Prevention moved New Haven County onto its list of areas with “substantial” spread of the virus, prompting local leaders to consider new public health orders.
