HARRISON MILLS (NEWS 1130) – An 11 year old boy who was found badly injured in his home near Agassiz last week has died.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been brought in. Mounties still haven’t told us what happened, other than that the boy was in medical distress when officers arrived at the home in Harrison Mills Friday afternoon.

OTTAWA (NEWS 1130) – Cruise ship season in Vancouver is cancelled this year, with the federal government banning the vessels in all Canadian waters until next year.
All cruise ships carrying 100 or more people continue to be prohibited from operating until Feb. 28, 2022. “Adventure-seeking pleasure crafts” aren’t allowed to enter Arctic waters, and any passenger boats carrying more than 12 people still can’t enter Arctic coastal waters, including Nunatsiavut, Nunavik, and the Labrador Coast.
The measures are meant to limit the spread of COVID-19 and allow public health authorities to focus on immediate issues related to the pandemic.

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Two men have been arrested for the fatal attack of a 78-year-old woman in her home near Queen Elizabeth Park.
Vancouver police believe the men were able to enter Usha Singh’s home on around 6 a.m. Sunday because they were dressed as officers. Singh was taken to hospital with “grave injuries” and died Tuesday.
