Friday, May 21, 2021 – Sheryl Crow apparently decided against ending her recording career with Threads in 2019 because she announced today she d be out with Live from the Ryman & More, on Aug. 13.
The generous 27-song collection features some covers and classics along with help from the likes of Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell, Lucius and Maren Morris.
Crow had said Threads would llikely be her final release.
A new track will be available every two weeks leading up to the release via The Valory Music Co.
The disc was recorded over five nights at Nashville s Ryman Auditorium, Los Angeles Ace Theatre and the Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island. The latter was from a 2019 performance.

The 59-year-old singer is set for her very first full-length, solo and multi-instrumental streaming concert performance next month, which is being filmed and broadcast by UK livestream company Driift.
Sheryl’s performance – which is named ‘Sheryl Crow: The Songs And The Stories – A Live Solo Performance’ – will take place at her “little church”, which is a private meditative space on her Nashville property.
She said in a statement: “Doing a solo show like this is challenging and exhilarating. Presenting these songs in a new way is exciting for me – this is not a typical acoustic show, those can be great, but this is something different.

Sheryl Crow will treat fans to the stories behind her songs in a global livestream solo performance scheduled for June 18.
Sheryl Crow: The Songs And The Stories – A Live Solo Performance will take place in a private space on Sheryl’s Nashville property that she calls her “little church.” She’ll move between different instruments and perform different arrangements of her greatest hits and deep cuts while sharing what went into creating them.
“Doing a solo show like this is challenging and exhilarating,” says Sheryl in a statement. “Presenting these songs in a new way is exciting for me – this is not a usual acoustic show. Those can be great, but this is something different.”
