Grammy nominee BTS and rookie girl group IVE emerged as the biggest winners at the 37th Golden Disc Awards held on Jan. 7 in Thailand.
BTS took home the Album of the Year award for “Proof,” released in June last year, their seventh “daesang” or grand prize at the Golden Disc Awards since 2018.
The 36th Golden Disc Awards (GDA) ceremony was held on Jan. 8 at the Seoul Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul to honor outstanding artists. BTS and IU emerged as the biggest winners of the night. BTS won the disc “daesang” (grand prize) for Album of the Year for “BE” and IU took home the digital “daesang”
