passenger. the company says they re exploring and mobilizing all options to bring the crew back safely. we re awaiting an update from the coast guard in about a half an hour and we ll take you there. welcome, everybody. i m neil cavuto. we go to alexis mcadams. we re waiting on the update from the coast guard. this comes as the coast guard is coordinating an all hands on deck active search and rescue mission for this missing sub. the coast guard working to find the five mission specialists on board including world explorer hamish harding. i pulled up an instagram post by hard ago few minutes ago. he talked about how excited he was to go on the dive and says the team has a few legendary explorers, some of which that did this over 30 times since 1980 oceangate expeditions is the american company that launched the submarine, which is the size of a minivan. about 350 miles southeast in the atlantic is where they are located. it didn t come back last night. they called the coast
ambient light so it is what is by the light. and there is some kind of side scan sonar that will send out a sound signal which will be retrieved and analyzed and then conclusions drawn from what the sonar signals said. to finally understand, though, exactly what caused the implosion, correct me if i m wrong, do you need to bring up pieces of the hull, pieces of the craft and to actually bring that up, how long is something like an opportunity like that? yeah, so the casualty investigation of this nature, so i heard that the they could be marine and so an investigation of this nature is ultimately going to attempt to determine the cause of the casualty as much as possible.
