to comply, and now we have the former president s son saying, it s okay, because he own hotels. it s not okay, not when you re the president of the united states ant don t go through congress. if everything was on the up and you said and congress gives you permission, but trump wants to decide he wants to skip over the constitution, kip over the rule of law and do whatever he wants to do, instead of honoring those things. i looked deeply into the relationship with trump and the saudis, just one part. i spoke to the then attorney general of washington, d.c., carl racine, he sued trump claiming he had violated the
they got a diet of information tell them the election was stolen from what they believe were credible sources. murdoch responds, wakeup call for hannity who s been privately disgusted by trump for weeks but was scared to lose viewers. what do you see here, will? i think there s so much interesting stuff in these ma teerls. you talk about fox news as a wing of the republican party. one of the most striking things has been an email where murdoch said, let s just focus on lekking republican senators in georgia. you can watch an hour of fox news and get the sense they re trying to help republicans, but to have it put that plainly i think is remarkable. additionally, you really see it laid out there, that desperation where fox is kind of stuck between the truth and risk of the liable lawsuit and their viewers. so in this new filing we see fox executives freaking out about the ratings. we see rupert s son saying, i m worried about the ratings.
joe, this is the thing. and by the way, what separates herschel walker from donald trump, from everybody else, it s just it is it s acceptance of it all. it s almost like a perfect lab experiment to see how low the republican party can go with people it s willing to put in the united states senate, what used to be called the world s most exclusive club. again, willie rightly keeps going back to the thing that is so jarring that his ex-wife said he put a gun to her head and said he was going to kill her. he s never denied that. and that you ve had one horrible story after another horrible story about his lies, about his behavior, his son saying
from the mother to the son saying, quote, ethan, don t do it. perhaps hours after they left the school, knowing that he perhaps may have had the weapon in his bag, so all of this obviously very chilling. when you also listen to what the school could have done and the issue that prosecutor says yes, she is angry over it, but it s not only her, but people in this community. we ve been here all week talking to law enforcement officials, sheriff deputies who ran into the school when word got out that shots were fired and what they saw and the anger they have towards the school for not doing more. it s just chilling when you really take a listen to everything that went on here and what could have been done possibly to prevent so much of this. there were so many red flags, so many. many things that people could have done. thank you, shimon prokupecz. let s discuss now with former fbi special agent and lecturer at yale university and andrew mckay, former deputy director of
enforcement officials from all across this state now involved, jake, in this manhunt. shimon, let s go back to what prosecutors said today because the prosecutor laid out quite the case against the parents. she did. and, you know, a lot of this information had been out there. they had been alluding to some of this. the new information they ob obtained, text messages, the exchange between the alleged shooter and his mother on one of the days, on monday, when one of the teachers raised issues with his behavior, something that was concerning this teacher, the mother was about searching on his cell phone, searching for ammunition. the mother, they reported this to the parents. and the mother texted the son saying, lol, you know, just don t get caught. i m not mad at you but just try not to get caught. more disturbing is what happens the next day.
