REPUBLIKA.CO.ID,MALANG Lima mahasiswa Universitas Brawijaya (UB) berhasil membuat piranti untuk menghitung benih ikan secara cepat, tepat, efektif, efisien, serta portable. Alat bernama SOHIN ini mengadaptasi Artificial Intelegence (AI) berbasis
computer vision dengan memanfaatkan sensor optik,
motion dan
segmentation.
Perwakilan tim, Muhammad Lutfi Ardiansyah mengatakan, cara kerja inovasi timnya diawali dengan operator memasukkan benih ikan bandeng atau nener beserta air ke dalam SOHIN. Nener tersebut akan melewati jalur inlet yang terbagi menjadi tiga kolom. Ketika nener melewati kamera, maka sensor optik akan menangkap gambar objek yang melewatinya, katanya.
