countries. why should we fund our own indictment to the level we are right now. got bless nikki haley and president trump for standing up to this body. lisa: more good news. the historic tax reform legislation signed into law. we have seen a retail christmas boon. shoppers and retailers are feeling that christmas cheer. what do you make of this, pete? pete: i think people have a ton of optimism. i think they are anticipating that their salaries will go up and wages will go up in the future. listen, there is a sense and i think president trump has helped induce this that america is back. that we should be optimistic. a lot of this is on the margins but a very good indication. lisa: optimism does have a huge rol role in this. we have seen companies like at&t and comcast to ability to pay bonuses to employees and investments they are going to makes a well. comcast $50 billion over the next five years.
