from the rio grande to san diego. saw one of the tunnels from mexico. been to the drug warehouses, massive confiscations, on horseback, out on all-terrain vehicle, helicopter boats, same story i get with these guys. isn t the number one risk is what that terrorist is saying? that s why we should secure the border, more than any other reason. sean, if i were the president of the united states, based on what i have experienced making this film and what people see. i would walk off the set because i would have to go call the national guard and tell them to get down there. the fact that there was a bill that was just signed and approved not signed. approved. yeah, approved. the fact that there was a bill that was just approved that says ten years from now we ll have a secure border is absolutely irresponsible. anybody who says, yes to this bill is one of three things,
be one last time, really that perhaps the public will get a chance to see the two of them together before the ceremony. we didn t think we d see them at all this week but that s clearly what everybody s waiting for. i m trying to see, i m looking down, it looks like they may have closed the road. look likes they may have. we may be a short time away or we may be two day as way. we don t know. the palace isn t confirming anything, obviously. today was a huge day of rehearsals. they had more than a thousand military folks out early this in tho morning, 5:00 a.m., on horseback, by foot. we saw the carriage that weather permitting is the one that we hope that you ll get a chance to see prince william and then the then-princess make their way back from westminster abbey to buckingham palace where we ll get to see the kiss. it all depends on the weather. if it s raining they may use the glass coach. it does look like something going on, tamron. you might want to stay a little bit. i m going
resisted doing things so many other presidents had done. we can show pictures of ronald reagan on horseback, president bush at the statue of liberty. the president speaking in front of mt. rushmore. presidents have done this. you know president obama. he just didn t want to do the gimmickry. do you think he s changed his mind about that and using the power of the office? i don t think you can say that anybody s changed their mind. i think what you can say is that you have a disciplined approach in the white house to communicating what they want the american people to hear about this presidency and about this president as we move into a period where there are 15 or 20 presidential candidates who will be out there every day criticizing him. and a lot of wannabes as well. it s really a critical part of being president to communicate to the american people where you re going. the white house was criticized during the first two years for nothing doing as effective a job. and the president

president having fun in the sun. or the rain. presidential vacations have long been a part of the mythology of the american presidency. president clinton was a very visible visitor to the vineyard. and there s george h.w. bush at kennebunkport, ronald reagan on horseback, richard nixon walking the beach in wingtips, lbj on his ranch, jfk on hyannis port. it s part of the image. some conservatives complain that this president is taking too many vacations. we asked cbs radio s mark knoller, the white house press corps unofficial record keeper. how does president obama stack up when it comes to vacations to his predecessors? so far he s been on vacation, he s accumulated 46 days of vacation since taking office. now, compare that to his immediate predecessor. at this point in his presidency,
