THIS February, one Somerset town is bringing colour to the streets with two exciting projects. Yeovil is set to take part in Window Wanderland and residents are being encouraged to light up and put a display in their windows between February 15 and 28. Nearly 100 households and businesses in the town have signed up to take part so far. “Yeovil town has excelled itself with its Christmas lights display and we wanted to explore the idea of a colourful celebration of our amazing town at another point in the winter to lift people’s spirits,” said Yeovil Window Wanderland project co-ordinator, Kara Bignell-Bird.
