Don t Give Up Your SCRA Rights
While the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act is federal law and covers all leases automatically, you can waive your rights under SCRA. It has to be done on a separate form, not in the lease itself or even stapled or attached in any way, in at least 12-point font, and specifically indicate what contract is being referenced.
