The community here but if you have the power instead of picking like the easy target, which may not be too much work for you, but choose a target, maybe put work in it and look at it from a different perspective. Theres one more small item i want your attention on. You can use muni fast pass as a tool to teacher students accountability, responsibility and also you can use it to inspire their parents to guide the youth and the other main point is dont use it as a tool to criminalize youth like those being done in San Francisco. Thanks. Supervisor wiener thank you. Next speaker. Good morning, speakers. Tenderloin Youth Leadership program. As part of my job i go to all high schools all over the l city recruiting kids to join the program and i hear all too much the common stories of students who cant afford to go to school, actually students that end up missing several days a year, costing the San Francisco a lot of money, as were not getting paid when theyre not in school. Also, so many t
Getting paid when theyre not in school. Also, so many teachers tell me how they have to take so many to help students get to school and back home to commute. Its a very unfortunate thing that i hear all too much. The 70 youth discount is just not enough. Every other city provides Free Public Transportation to and from school except this city. Also, its very difficult for a family of four to send their kids to school when theyre low income and they have to send all four children to school. That becomes very, very difficult. Also, some students end up not going to school because theyre too embarrassed to ask for the school. We have the resources, we have the support from the community, we have the support from the ftma. All we need is for you to make the right decision and to invest in the children. Although you might not have five children of your own and you might not be low income yourself we expect you to have compassion for those that are. Thank you. You. Next speaker. Good morning.
But working in collaboration with the mayors office, supervisor and members of the community to address those needs. If you look at how transit is currently affecting youth yud know there are tremendous needs out there. Increases incessant coupled with budget cuts is putting our youth further behind. We know these needs exist and we know theyre obvious. We saw ed2mj[u risken present te is a 40 drop in ridership. If you needed more evidence that this is an issue youth is experiencing its there before you. We want to emphasize on behalf of the Youth Commission that access to transit month should not only be privileges for those who can afford them but are a right that should be enjoyed and benefited by everybody in the city and county of San Francisco. We also feel that by supporting the muni for Youth Program what you are doing is investing in a new generation of transit ridership. If we are a transitfirst city then we need to own up to that and this is an exact opportunity that we can
Ms. Speier, for five minutes. Ms. Speier madam speaker, thank you. Last week, as the world watched in disbelief, the trial of Brigadier General sinclaire concluded much as it began, flawed and unjust. Even with the world watching, the military once again demonstrated its outright incompetence at administering justice. Brigadier general sinclaire walked out of the court a free man even though he had plead guilty to these charges. He plead guilty to an inappropriate relationships with his accuser, an inappropriate relationship with another female army captain, an inappropriate relationship with a female army major, possessing and displaying pornographic images and videos on his computer in afghanistan. He plead guilty to using a governmentissued travel card for personal purposes for a trip to tucson, arizona, and a trip to fort hood, texas, to see his mistress. He plead guilty to attempting to start an inappropriate relationship with a female army lieutenant. Sexually Explicit Communicat

So its not really an explicit entitlement or right. Its a process you have to qualify for, is that correct . Correct. There are many different ways of trying to figure out how somebody qualifies, and whether they qualify, is that correct . Yes. And by and large, historically, irs has had a Standard Operating Procedure for determining those that status. Either 501 c 3 or 501 c 4 or other status. Is that correct . Correct. In this particular case, what were all excited about is that a filter was created in a Regional Office that seemed to target people for their political views, both right and left, but apparently mostly right. Is that right . They were as noted, inappropriate criteria used primarily 9 name of the organization to select them for further review. Now one of the problems with that here is an add verb.
