We began with a powerful story of a family journey to understand heritage. It started with our original roof 40 year ago. It is the story of the cash of photos, taken in 1942. The recently uncovered images show the faces of japaneseamericans , only days before they were shipped off to internment camps. What is amazing, people saw the story and then reached out after recognizing the photos. We were hoping to connect people to family history. Maybe they had no idea what happened. Two cousins decided to make that journey, all with the hopes of learning more. It is like traveling in time. And adventure these cousins decided to make together. Piecing together bits and pieces.
