Solon Schools to open second semester Jan. 4 in fully remote model Ed Wittenberg, cleveland.com
SOLON, Ohio – The Solon City School District will open the second semester on Jan. 4 in a fully remote model for one week, Superintendent Fred Bolden said in an email to district families Friday (Dec. 18).
“Due to continued high levels of COVID-19 in our area and to ensure we have the necessary staffing to open (pre-kindergarten through grade 12) successfully for the next semester, we believe it is necessary to delay the opening of in-person classes by one week until Jan. 11,” Bolden said in the email, posted on the district’s website.
