Image via Square Enix The Ceremony of Eternal Bonding in Final Fantasy XIV allows players to marry that special someone in their life. Whether it’s their significant other or just a friend, you can marry whoever you want in-game. This includes players and characters of the same gender. There are no restrictions set on who you can profess your vows to, as long as you and your partner meet the requirements for the wedding quest in-game. You also get to invite your honored guests to the ceremony to share this special day with them. The wedding ceremony takes place at the Sanctum of the Twelve in East Shroud within the Ivory Chapel. You can select how elaborate you want your ceremony to be with either the free Standard Plan or the paid Gold or Platinum Plans that require real money to purchase. The differences between each plan are really only cosmetic, so there’s no pressure to spend money if you don’t want to.
