A solar eclipse is happening a week from today on Monday, April 8th. The North Dakota's Gateway to Science is celebrating with crafts, guest speakers and eclipse glasses. Outreach & Education Director Hope Burdolski will be traveling to Johnson City, Texas to experience the eclipse first hand. She said, "I'm really excited because I'll be going to Texas to live stream it back to North Dakota and so I'm excited to share with all of our North Dakota friends while I'm down there." The eclipse will be the most visible there and is expected to last four minutes.
