Vanden High senior Keaton Stout wins Robert O. Briggs Music Scholarship
FAIRFIELD The Solano Winds Community Concert Band recently awarded the Robert O. Briggs Music Scholarship to Keaton Stout, a senior at Vanden High School.
The $1,000 award will help to defray education costs when Stout enrolls at Azusa Pacific University in the fall to work toward a degree in commercial music.
He is an accomplished musician and a leader in all of the ensembles at Vanden High School.
Stout has been a member of the California All-State ensembles, and regularly performs with the Alive Music Orchestra in Vacaville.
His first album, containing all original music performed exclusively by him on all instruments, was released just before his senior year of
