Benicia offers incentive to get younger residents vaccinated
BENICIA A $25 gift certificate to a city pizzeria of choice is being offered to residents 16 to 24 who get vaccinated.
A clinic is available for all residents from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Benicia Senior Center, located at 187 E. L St.
“Many colleges and workplaces are now requiring full vaccination. This clinic gives area students the opportunity to get vaccinated,” a statement issued by the city said.
The gift certificate will be presented when those eligible residents get their second inoculation May 26. The gift certificates are being provided through the city’s Office of Economic Development.

“I flew up and looked at three places, this was the most ideal. We had to build it out,” said Hammond, who was born in San Francisco and now lives in Southern California

“He is the glue, he is the foundation here,” said Ben Gammon, the EMS Coordinator for Solano Public Health.
The county is partnering with Kaiser, NorthBay Healthcare and Touro University to make this happen.
