Vaccination clinic set Saturday for Solano-area veterans

FAIRFIELD A vaccination clinic for U.S. military veterans is set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Solano County Events Center.
Veterans’ spouses and caretakers also can receive their one-time Johnson & Johnson vaccine shots.
“As you know, you will have problems going anywhere in the future without the vaccine,” said Ted Puntillo, director of Solano County Veteran Services. “I just bought Giants tickets and the declaimer says I had to have proof of my vaccination or a very recent Covid test to enter the stadium.”
The clinic, put on by the Department of Veterans Affairs, will be held in Conference Room A of the Events Center, which is located at 601 Texas St., the smaller building next to the county government building.
