SBDC looks to help Black-owned businesses in Solano, NorCal

FAIRFIELD The Solano Small Business Development Center is part of a new program that provides expert advice and training, and possible financial support, for Black-owned businesses.
The Northern California Small Business Development Center network, which includes the Solano SBDC, recently launched the Inclusivity Project.
The no-cost expert support, as well as the possible $100 million in funding for 1,000 Black-owned Northern California businesses, is available now.
How many Black-owned businesses are in Solano County is not known, but a spokeswoman for the local SBDC said the office has already heard from more than 25 business owners who are interested.
