Arctic air through the weekend but a warmup next week and a hot and dry forecast in southern South America are the weather factors holding the market s attention Friday.

Some heavy snow and mixed precipitation will cause lots of hazards for those living there and then up through the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast tonight into Friday. The system will continue to push the arctic front south to the Gulf of Mexico while the cold continues to produce some dangerous wind chills in the Plains and Midwest.
