Faced with a small patch of usable land at the back of his Batchelor Heights property, Sohail Khurshid had little choice but to go with a terraced yard.
At first he thought he would build a two-metre high wall at the rear of his Saddleback Drive home. In the end, he decided to go with two one-metre high walls. This would give him more yard to enjoy, he said. I will put some grass here on the lower level, said Khurshid. I will see what I can do up top. Maybe a barbecue area.
Khurshid turned to BigHorn Excavating & Landscaping to tackle the project. Co-owner Ryan Lopes and his crew were at the house last week prepping the wall.
