We can take a look at some of the observations out there from local storm reports and see what is happening around the area, and one of the things that i have been tracking is the winds. They have not materialized yet, but some of the reports around the area have given us rainfall accumulations and rates of up to one quarter of an inch in our an hour in places. We have some localized flooding up around alamo, and at the off ramp to livermore road. These are people on the ground. Roadway flooding is reported in emeryville. What this most likely is is some stream flooding. There is a lot of rain coming down especially in paul alto and san san jose. The afternoon commute is a mess and more is on the way.
