Iranian taekwondo team to compete at Sofia Open Saturday, 13 February 2021
Iranian taekwondo players are scheduled to travel to Bulgaria to compete at the Sofia Taekwondo Open in March - their first international event for more than a year.
The Sofia Open is scheduled to take place on March 6 and 7, with the Iranian team slated to travel to the Bulgarian capital on March 4, according to the Iranian
Mehr News Agency.
This event currently has 117 athletes from 12 countries registered to take part.
Bulgaria s national taekwondo team is coached by an Iranian, Farzad Zolghadri, the close links have been established been the two nations taekwondo programmes.
