A Former Greek Macedonian Community Club in Marrickville Has Been Converted Into the Great Club, a Live-Music Venue and Bar With Big Greek Energy
It had been empty for almost two years when a pair of music-industry veterans took it over. Now it’s devoted to live music, and there’s a menu of Australiana-inspired cocktails and a local chef turning out an ever-changing menu of Greek hits, where the only rules are “freshness and salt”.

To be clear, the sparkly vagina is just a ritzy design hangover from yesteryear, but it’s got the kind of Big Greek Energy Olsen and co-director Alison Avron are embracing as the new tenants at the Greek Macedonian Club on Livingstone Road.
