9th March 2021 Research just published, which collates evidence from seven countries and territories in South East Asia, reveals that a diverse range of social enterprises are trading across all sectors of economy and that women and young people are taking the lead. There are estimated to be up to 1 million social enterprises tackling social and environmental problems across South East Asia, according to research just published by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, the British Council and Social Enterprise UK.
