National Federation Party leader Professor Biman Prasad was again taken in for questioning by police yesterday.
Fiji’s Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu confirmed this but did not comment any further.
Prof Prasad told Parliament he was questioned by Police last Sunday night about a statement he had issued about the proposed changes to Bill No.17 – the iTaukei Land Trust Act.
He said others taken in for questioning included NFP president Pio Tikoduadua, former prime minister Sitiveni Rabuka, Unity Fiji party leader Savenaca Narube and members of the Social Democratic Liberal Party.
